There's nothing better than getting away from it all, exploring new destinations and having a well earned rest! Dorothy has just got back from a fabulous holiday in South Africa with her daughter. They went over for a friends wedding but ensured they did plenty of sightseeing whilst they were there. Of course, Dorothy showcased plenty of chrissmotivation outfits, here's a couple:

Pack Your Suitcase Easily

We appreciate that packing your suitcase ready to jet off isn't always a pleasant experience and is often a cause of stress. Here's our top packing tips and essentials to help make the process easier:

1. Wear Your Layers

If you are going to warmer climates the temperature often drops at night, so a cover up is ideal. Either a light knit to throw on like Dorothy's poncho or a go with anything jacket. Wear it on the plane to avoid bulk in your suitcase and to keep you warm on your way to the airport.

2. Nightime to Beachtime

A Colourful Experience for Two

In March we ran a competition for two people to win a Colour Consultation with Personal Stylist, Hayley Eleanor, and two £50 vouchers to spend in the boutique. The winner was chosen completely at random but happened to be one of our lovely customers Jackie, who nominated her long term friend, Tina, to share the experience with her. In her entry Jackie said:

" I would love to share this experience with my lovely friend, she has been through so much the past 12 months and will have to continue fighting for many more months she has also had to remain strong for her husband. They both remain positive and are both determined to win the battle. It would be a wonderful treat for her xx "

The Colour Consultation

The morning started with the Colour Consultation for Jackie and Tina on our second floor. For anybody not familiar with Colour Analysis, it is a process of discovering your unique palette of colours which enhances and harmonises your natural colour characteristics. The palette colours also compliment each other, making it easy to coordinate outfits. Hayley used a series of drapes to determine Jackie and Tina's colour palette, here are the results:

Jackie loves pink and wears a lot of it!
Jackie is very fair with blue eyes and glows in the soft, light colours of the Summer seasonal palette.
Jackie in some of her WOW colours of turquoise, burgundy, and violet, which she'd previously not considered.

Tina loves neutral colours and her current wardrobe has a lot of black, navy and teal.
Tina has warm brown eyes and looks stunning in the soft warm colours of the Autumn season palette.
Tina adored the combination of peach and olive, as well as wanting to find some rust pieces to incorporate into her wardrobe.

Shopping

Whilst enjoying a glass of Prosecco (well it wouldn't be the chrissmotivation experience without bubbles!) a selection from our Spring collections was chosen for Jackie and Tina based on their Colour Palettes and preferences.

Jackie wanted some ideas for new casual trouser and t-shirt combination, so we incorporated the faux leather blush jacket that she'd spotted in store a few weeks earlier, the pink trousers she already owned and some similar silver trainers to ones she has. Shop the pieces:

Spring/ Summer Masai Collection at chrissmotivation

Finally there seems some signs of spring! We are all looking forward to some sunnier days. We have a large range of SS18 collections both online and in store.

One of our most popular brands is Masai and we have customers travelling many miles to come and see us. Our Masai styling day was a huge success last month where we welcomed Vicky Smith to help style and advise our customers on our vast Masai collection. More stock has arrived which will be added to our collection over the coming weeks.

Firm Favourites

The Delice is an oversize top in slightly crinkled viscose decorated with lovely large flowers. The top falls beautifully over your figure and feels wonderful to wear.
